“Revolutionising the automotive event”
A responsive, one-page website design and build for a high-end automotive brand, also consisting of a brand and some bespoke evocative brand imagery.
The branding itself was very light-touch, with the “Volition shield” icon embodying movement and speed, while the font selections and colour choices were made to create a refined and luxurious visual style.
It proved quite difficult to conceptualise engaging imagery for an automotive brand that doesn’t actually have a car to sell, nor an existing affiliation with a manufacturer. After some tests and research, I devised the concept of big open landscapes with a vehicle’s light trails passing through them, past the Volition shield which acts as a mirror in the centre of the frame.
